Question: How
do I use MegaTHIK?
Answer: Please follow the directions 1
through 6 listed below.
1)
After showering make sure your
hair is dry before applying MegaTHIK. Best results are
achieved when MegaTHIK is applied in a cool, dry
environment. You can towel, blow or allow your hair to air
dry.
2) Hold the container 4-6 inches above the
area you would like thickened. For small areas, hold the
container directly over the target area.
3) Shake the container and apply the
MegaTHIK fibers liberally to the target areas. To target
areas at the back of the head tilt head forward and apply
MegaTHIK fibers liberally, move the container in a circular
motion while applying to ensure complete and even coverage
at the back of the head. If there are stray fibers on your
skin or clothing dust off lightly with a towel to remove
them.
4) On the frontal areas, place hand over
forehead and cover approximately 1 inch from the beginning
of hairline to prevent MegaTHIK from getting onto forehead
and to create a gradual thickening appearance at the
hairline.
5) Once sufficient MegaTHIK has been
applied brush through lightly and style with a loose bristle
brush. If further thickening is desired apply additional
MegaTHIK, pat treated area lightly to disperse fibers.
6) After desired thickness and style has
been achieved apply a light misting of hair spray to fix
style.
Question: What
colors does MegaTHIK come in?
Answer: MegaTHIK is currently available in
Black, Dark Brown, Medium Brown and Light Brown. MegaTHIK
will also be available in blonds and Gray shortly.
Question: What color of MegaTHIK will work
best for me?
Answer: The
best results are achieved my matching your exact shade, or a
slightly darker shade then your natural hair color.
Question: Are there
any active ingredients in MegaTHIK?
Answer: No,
MegaTHIK is an all-natural product. The ingredients
contained in MegaTHIK is as follows. Keratin, Fatty Alcohol
Sulfate. May also contain: FD&C Red #40, D&C Red #22, D&C
Red #33, FD&C Yellow #5, FD&C Yellow #6, D&C Green #5, D&C
Green #6, FD&C Green #3, D&C Orange #4, FD&C Blue #1.
Question: Is MegaTHIK safe to use with other
topical hair loss treatments?
Answer: Since
MegaTHIK is an all-natural complex of organic
protein it is completely safe to use with topical hair loss
treatments such as monoxidil. Just use your favorite topical
treatment, allow your hair to dry and apply MegaTHIK
for a great looking head of hair every time.
Question: Why is MegaTHIK more expensive then your
competitors product?
Answer:
MegaTHIK is actually less
expensive then our competitor's product. One unit of
MegaTHIK contains 25 grams of hair thickening fibers, while
our competitor's product only provides you with 12.5 grams
of thickening fibers per unit.
Question: Can I use MegaTHIK after hair transplant
surgery?
Answer:
MegaTHIK is recommended by many hair transplant
surgeons to their clients because it is completely safe and
it works extremely well on hair transplants. Even if you've
just had hair transplant surgery, MegaTHIK will
completely eliminate the appearance of any temporary post
operative thinning, scabs, or scars.
Question: Is MegaTHIK safe to use every
day, will prolonged use irritate my scalp?
Answer: No,
MegaTHIK is an all-natural product, it does not contain any
active ingredients than can possibly interact with or
irritate the scalp.
Question: Can I sleep with MegaTHIK in my hair or
does it need to be washed out every night?
Answer: No, you
can leave MegaTHIK in your hair overnight, you may find a
few stray fibers on your pillow case the following morning,
we suggest using a darker color pillow case and the small
number of stray fibers will not be noticeable at all.
Question: If someone looks at my scalp closely or
runs their hand through my hair will MegaTHIK become
noticeable?
Answer: No,
once you have brushed MegaTHIK in it will be completely
undetectable, even from 2 inches away, it is extremely
difficult to notice. We've had clients who reported going to
the barber with MegaTHIK in their hair and have not had
their barber notice anything unusual at all.
Question: If my hair gets wet or I get caught in
the rain will MegaTHIK run, stain or smear?
Answer: Because
of it's micro composition, once applied, the MegaTHIK
fibers bond to your own "Vellus" and thinning hair so
securely that even strong blowing wind or heavy rain will
not cause it to run, stain or smear, yet it washes out
easily with practically any shampoo.
Question: What degree of baldness or thinning can
MegaTHIK effectively conceal?
Answer:
MegaTHIK works very well on diffuse thinning and on thinning
patterns in the Norwood scale which range from 1-5.
